Recently, the Irish government announced that it would provide 676 million euros in funding to expand Ireland's greenway network and road construction.

This funding includes from Clifden to Recess (1.9 million euros), Gore Wei's route to Moycullen (600,000 euros) and Derrygimlagh-Clifden-Kylemore (550,000 euros). I am very looking forward to riding this route, some of which will be completed in the second half of next year."
